Hermosa Gardens Cemetery was founded in 1887 and in 1993 was cited as Historical Landmark No. 31 by the Historical Preservation Commission. Our most famous resident, American Frontier Lawman Morgan Earp is laid to rest here. However, don't let our age fool you. Of our total 40 acres of grounds, only 15 of those acres have been utilized thus far. There is ample acreage for the burials of several generations to come.

As you enter Hermosa Gardens Cemetery, you are greeted by cascading waters of our Cherub Fountain. Lined with mature oak trees and aromatic rose gardens, Hermosa's historical grounds are beautifully decorated with flowers that our faithful visitors bring.
